This 3 -D map highlights your favorite attractions in EPCOT. This print captures the entire park including favorite landmarks, such as Spaceship Earth in Future World and all the amazing pavilions in the World Showcase. Let’s explore each area individually.
Entering Details like the Monorail’s entry loop, ticket booths and even the bus drop-off are highlighted. As you enter the park, you are greeted by the unmistakable Spaceship Earth and the now-repurposed Leave A Legacy Walls in what is currently the newly named World Celebration area. Moving in forward, you can clearly see an historic version of the newly remodeled “Innoventions” buildings, with their colorful tarped kiosks in the center. The delicate loop of Test Track, the planet sculpture of Mission Space, the memories of the Wonders of Life/Festival Building, and the massive size of the Guardians of the Galaxy are highlighted in the World Discovery area. Looking to the East, it’s amazing to realize the sheer size of the Living Seas with Nemo and Friends, which can actually fit the globe that is Spaceship Earth. Also, as impressive, is the extent of the building and related greenhouses of The Land pavilion.
First thing you notice is the immense size of the Lagoon, with its islands, Friendship Docks and Harmonious barge anchor points. Don’t forget to look for the Harmonious Barges at the bottom right in between China and Germany, Next, the distance and prominence of the individual countries stand out with their creative building shapes and distinct landmarks. Highlights of your journey around the World Showcase (starting with Mexico) are the Aztec pyramid at the entrance to Mexico, the Stave Church in Norway, and China’s beautiful Theater – patterned after the Hall of Prayers for Good Harvest in the Temple of Heaven.
You’ll notice the two “empty” backstage areas between Mexico and Norway and between China and Germany. These were meant to host pavilions for Russia and Equatorial Africa, respectively. Now they host greenhouses and external storage. You can also see extensions of Germany and Japan which were meant to house a river ride and a rollercoaster. Additionally, you can see multiple buildings behind the Model Railroad between Germany and Italy which was meant to house the Switzerland Pavilion.
Back to our highlights tour, you’ll notice the statue in the center of Germany, the tower and gondolas of Italy, and how big the American Adventure really is to hold all of those animatronic sets Japan hosts its tori gate and serene bonsai garden, while Morocco details its narrow streets and marketplace. You can also see the Ratatouille attraction building between Morocco and France, as well as France’s restaurants and theater with the Eifel Tower on top. The United Kingdom’s famous Pub is visible, as is the Millennium Showcase building between the UK and Canada – home to many special events. Finally, Canada’s famed Bouchart Gardens and Chateau Laurier hotel are seen in detail, ending our travels around the world.
Print dates to a the latest scan from Fall of 2018, so Guardians is featured as a ride building and construction zone.
Each 11-inch x 14-inch Shadow box is finished in White to highlight the details of each park and mounted with the ability to either grace your wall at home or stand as a proud display on your chosen surface.
